Bus Pass Walk

Thought I was catching up, but have fallen back again.  Backblipped on 1 May for 25 April!  3 caught the bus to Gilstead and then a walk through Milner Field and down to the river.  Of course we had to take a coffee break at The Higher Ground before walking back to Bingley along the canal and meeting up with Corinthian at The Loft Cafe for lunch.  Photos of the woodland, the river, the canal and Hirst Locks. Then the rest of the afternoon spent at Bingley Arts Centre watching the film "Emily".  Not sure what I expected. Nice to see Haworth and the moorlands, but it was rather a dark film with rather a lot of poetic licence. The weather was awful during most of the film - not sure it would encourage people to visit Yorkshire! Glad I've seen it though.
