Drowned and forgotten

Found this rather sorry looking bike along the Ashton Canal today. Had a really nice walk along it to the Etihad Stadium before coming back along it on my home. My flatmate joined me and even saved a pigeon from drowning along the way. 

I've never been to the Etihad and I'm not really into football, so never had a reason to before. But it's quite an impressive stadium. Makes you wonder what good the money put into building it could have done in other areas of society...

Still, a nice bank holiday Monday (with another on it's way next week!)
