New cat on the block

Over the past week or so, this young dark grey cat has appeared in our front and back gardens. No collar. Very inquisitive. Climbing trees and watching the birds. He even had a play fight with Katie’s cat Nico yesterday. All very sweet ….
But around 3 a.m we were wakened by a commotion at the cat flap followed by some real cat fighting screeches. We both shot downstairs and opened the back door. Mia came running in tail all a quiver and then spent the night on our bed instead of downstairs. We think grey cat was in or trying to get in. Food bowls were empty. So the trail camera is set up to see if we can get some evidence tonight.
