Monday: Portraits

It was a holiday here as it was elsewhere, so we’ve benefitted from a long weekend.  We didn’t do anything too adventurous today, mainly because we’re still without a car.  Hopefully that should be rectified this week.  It’s a drag being without a vehicle.

We watched ‘Tár’ this afternoon.  It was quite intense and pretty long - definitely a movie to think about.

As for the photo, this is in our entrance hall.  We were hoping new portraits would arrive before Saturday but that’s not going to happen……

On another note, I have a real hankering for some Arctic Roll.  If someone could send some that would be much appreciated.  

After a day of respite the smell of smoke is thick in the air again.
