Mohawk at Dusk

Actually this was about 30 minutes AFTER sunset. The sun set over the hill, though, so it wouldn't have made much of a difference. I really liked the expanse of sky, and in real life the clouds were much more dramatic, but I couldn't capture it.

I didn't do anything to this photo except play with the hue, but I did attempt! I opened Gimp and clicked on a bunch of buttons that seemed to have to do with layers, but clearly I need to read the documentation before randomly pushing buttons -- though, sometimes that does work....
