A Hint of Ivy

Do you remember how several of us wondered what a 'hint if Ivy' tasted like when it was mentioned in the description of a Bordeaux wine? See here:

Well, today I picked several small leaves of Ivy. Without wanting to eat them (in fact they are poisonous!) I rolled them between my index finger and thumb... well it definitely smelt (tasted) like the colour GREEN! Think freshly mown spring grass! So now we know!

I would have entered this for Tiny Tuesday, but I'm off the theme of 'insects'.

I added a very small viola flower to give an idea of scale.
