Three Tonnes of Shingle

This is the first tonne of three delivered at 8am this morning. We’ve shingled a large flowerbed in the garden to make it less maintenance in the future. We do still have two areas of grass and soil flowerbeds to help wildlife but there was just too much work involved in keeping on top of the garden as it was.

M did really well and shovelled all the shingle into a wheelbarrow and wheeled it round the house…many times. I did the raking around the plants. We’re both pretty tired now but pleased with our efforts.
