A hard day's walk

(posted a day late). The forecast was good so it was off early for a big, big walk - 5 Corbetts (hills between 2,500ft (762m) and 3,000ft (914.4m) with at least 500ft 150m) ascent and descent to the next hill. It involved over 2,000m of ascent/descent with some of it very steep and was about 21km in length, starting just north of Tyndrum.
Underfoot was mainly grass or moss which made for pleasant walking and the weather exceeded expectations with glorious sunshine, and a cool breeze to stop us getting hot (though a couple of places it was decidedly cold!). We actually walked in shorts.
The views were stupendous in all directions and the cameras were kept busy. There were also quite a number of mountain flowers out, including the purple saxifrage and a few different birds.
I wasn't sure what to blip but this is a view from the steep slope of the second hill looking toward the final one (the one in front of the pointy one) and the track we had to join to return to the car.
I'll try and put up a link to other pics, later - we didn't get home till 10.30pm as the walk took more than 10 hrs and I haven't had time to edit them all yet).
