Reprieve

Set to today to remove the shrubs and herbaceous we lost in the frost and snow.
Following our trip to B&Q on Friday (20% off and 10% trade card discount) and Beth Chatto’s Garden on Saturday we had a lot of stuff to plant.
This Choisya had lost all its leaves and was pretty sorry for itself so I dug it up. I was cutting the branches off the roots so I could put them through the shredder when I spotted a green shoot on the root.
So it has been reprieved after cutting off all the dead wood. If it flourishes we will find a place in the garden to put it.
