First fledgling!

May Bank Holiday ..... Monday 1st May 2023               (backblip)

I have also backblipped Saturday's Plenty of birds & Sunday's A little beauty ..... hope you will have a look .... thanks to those who already have :-)

Almost caught up!

Sky looked a bit ominous in places but lovely blue sky in others .... so we decided to risk a walk & hope for the best!

We saw the first fledgling today .... a young Blackbird ..... seems early but think it had maybe been disturbed & left the nest a little early.

It seemed healthy & was being fed by dad so hopefully it will be okay.

As we were almost home we spotted this Muntjac .... it was well hidden in the undergrowth but I was just able to get this :-)

We have been lucky with the weather as we have missed the showers when we've gone for a walk ..... great timing on our part!

Think I have managed to catch up .... sorry if I missed anyone!
