First Bluebell

A nice little excursion to a nature reserve that backs onto both an industrial estate and outlet shopping village! 

Parrot's Drumble is owned and managed by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust and is a beautiful bluebell wood. The name come from the original owners - Parrot and a local term for a stream - drumble.

Unfortunately our ramble was interrupted by heavy rain. After a while I had to give up with the photography as it was so wet. I'm hoping for a drier day in the next few weeks to revisit...... fingers crossed.

The extra is of a money spider suspended between the wild flowers.
