Pieris

Pieris Japonica variegated leaf form with some reflowering & start of the sprouting red tips.

Started knitting the baby hat whilst waiting for the washing machine of 2nd load. Got stuff out on the whirligig today. Although cloudy for most of the day a bit of breeze got rid of worst of dampness, hopefully dry overnight in warmer house.

Just as I was about to open the door to put first wash out was surprised by a pair of goldfinches in the garden. I froze like an awkward Dr Who statue (definitely not like an elegant heron) & watched the birds briefly before they flew off.

Leave the dandelions the bees will come & now goldfinches too to take the seed.
