Welcoming committee (Day 2915)

Another early start, and after walking Sigyn, I zoomed off to Stromness to deal with the horses. It seems they have got used to my truck arriving and when they heard me coming down the track, they welcoming committee assembled at the gate. Field jobs done (including selfies for my beautiful wife), I headed home switched to the van and made my way to town to deal with a little job and a bunch of errands.
Home for lunch and a wander with Sigyn, then off to Birsay to do a bit more on the bathroom. Sorting out the doors for the shower enclosure took far far too long. Nothing seemed to fit and fiddling about with it all was just ridiculously frustrating.
I gave up late afternoon and, after swapping vehicles, I headed across to the horses. It was a really lovely evening and it was grand to spend a bit of time with the horses and tinkering with the quad bike.
