Seriously?

Public Health Warning !

I think I might be Dangerous.

Last Tuesday the electric kettle stopped working and so I boiled water on the gas to make a cuppa when I got home. Filling the pot, I took the tea tray into the lounge. Half an hour later, I realised that the acrid smell was not my neighbour's barbeque. Apparently, when returning the pan to the stove after using the boiled water to make tea, you have to turn off the gas. I think I used to know that. I took the smoking, stinking pan out to the terrace and used the garden cold water tap to cool it down thereby shattering the shatterproof glass lid and thus completing the total destruction of my little teflon-tough but apparently not me-proof, pan.

This morning, I made, as I often do, a yummy banana smoothie with yoghurt and ice. Turned on the liquidiser and BANG!!! Suddenly my smoothie was flooding the work surface through the new hole in the side of the plastic jug as it spewed chunks of ice and banana. Apparently you need to take the metal serving spoon out of the liquidiser jug before you close the lid and turn it on. I think I always knew that before, too.

Maybe this is just a phase?

I have decided it may be safer to stick to non-electric drinks such as beer as long as I am Dangerous.
