Swift, the Saker Falcon

We met up with Deb's Brother Andy, and went to the sausage festival at Muncaster Castle. The sausage tasting was one of the highlights of the day, but less photogenic than the falconry displays, the main photo is of Swift, their Saker Falcon, and one of the fastest birds on the planet. The handler is spinning a lure (dead chick) for the falcon to fly in for. I started shooting before the bird was in the frame and kept shooting after it had gone, but got the pic I wanted. The extra is of one of their vultures flying straight at me. I did have to duck to avoid a wing buffeting.
