I Survived

Had to have a squamous cell carcinoma removed from my back this morning at the Skin Cancer Surgery Center. I had to be there at 7:45 am, a half hour away. The very kind ex came and picked me up and we waded through traffic but got there in good time. I was very nervous, never having had this procedure done before, but they gave me some Atavan which helped immensely and numbed me up very well. It went fast and I was on my way home by 11:30. 

I took a quite shot of this Cercis canadensis or Redbud in the parking lot ;-)
When I got home I was pretty wiped so mostly puttered around, although I didn't actually nap. I suspect I'll be in bed early tonight!
