Cool Sunset

The sun shone brightly this afternoon and I enjoyed its rays reaching through the window as I worked. The starling were in and out of the nest in the roof chatting away. They must have young chicks.

As the sun sunk the temperature plummeted quickly and it was a quite cool sunset in the end. The photo was sent to me from a friend captured on a train station platform. The sun appears to be trapped under the railway bridge.

I’m all set for travelling to North Wales tomorrow. Sadly won’t be an early night as I finalise details with colleagues across the pond. Looking forward to the trip and escaping my desk for a couple of days.
