Pop String Quartet

This evening we attended an after-hours function at the National Portrait Gallery.  During dinner, this string quartet played and it wasn't long before I realized they were playing pop tunes which sounded very, very different from their original versions.. Because there were no lyrics, the challenge for my husband and me was to name the tune.  They played such things as:  Billie Jean, Wild Thing, Call Me Maybe, a some Beatles tunes (easier to pick out), etc. 

After dinner and dessert, we were able to tour the galleries at our leisure with very few people around.
