A walk at Howe Ridding

Misty has settled well with us and was delighted to be taken out to Howe Ridding Wood. We walked up listening to blackcaps and willow warblers, and looking for butterflies. We saw some green hairstreaks, around two weeks later than last year. The brimstones and orange tips were out, and some fresh speckled woods too. The early purple orchids are really fresh and bright too.
A lovely spring day!
