Caught back-blipping

I didn’t shoot anything at all today, so I’m resorting to one of my Berlin pictures from last week. This strange, skinny fragment of the Wall, left standing at Potsdamer Platz for easy consumption by tourists, has an extremely odd texture. On closer examination, it turns out to be hundreds of blobs of chewing gum pressed into the cement surface. Is this really a proper commentary on a major piece of history? I prefer the murals and graffiti, myself.
