PICNIC

Just to prove lightning summer can strike twice, and even on a Bank Holiday.

Excellent circular walk around The Strid Woods from Barden Tower this morning. Lots of birds, Pied Flycatchers, Wood Warbler, Spotted Flycatchers, Redstart, a pair of Treecreepers taking food to their nest, and 3 Mandarin ducks.

Then went on to Gouthwaite Reservoir, but the Osprey which visited yesterday wasn't there today.

Now back home and seeking some shade!
