Tulips once more

Cropped this a wee bit as to get more into the heart of the tulip, a Parrot tulip it is, what shows so well from its fringed leaves. Altho' this kind of tulip doesn't show the classic tulip chalice, I do marvel its leaves with all the wrinkles and fringes and its fabulous colors. 
A little fly got closer into the tulips heart than I could. 

I'd promised my Benjamin to visit the tulip fields so we went there the afternoon when the sunshine was still clear.
