I dip therefore I am

I have been after a shot of this one for AGES.  It was watching it hunt that got me into keeping a closer eye on the birds by the river.  

Today it was covering quite a large area, but when I got near its nesting site it was kind enough to pose on this strut in-between dives.  It was very successful each time, and has a little nymph in its mouth.
