Rotting Fence Post

The weather was a complete contrast to yesterday - no sun and blue skies, but a horrid flat grey sky and biting easterly wind. I was glad of fleece, hat and gloves while on my walk.

The wind made photographing wild flowers just about impossible as they were moving about so much!! No gardening either today as it was so cold!!

Today I have blipped an old wooden fence post which appears to be slowly broken apart by some barbed wire! The texture of the wood, the bark and the bit of moss were what caught my eye.
