Today

We set off early for Belfast. But just outside Warrenpoint, a truck passed us at speed and threw up a stone that made a large crack in our windscreen. We both got a terrible fright. On the roadside I tried for hours to actually connect with my car insurance people in Dublin, but no luck.

So we made the decision to turn back. This was disappointing as I had lovely things to do in Belfast and my friend planned to hike the Divis & The Black Mountain.

We drove back to Dublin and have an appointment for windscreen repair tomorrow in Bray at 9.30am
