Funeral Shoes.

The vicar's.  Not mine.

Dad's funeral is next week and I had a meeting with the vicar to discuss some details.  These shoes were next to her desk.  Purple suede and amazing heels to wear to church and cremation funerals. She has purple boots for when she has to go to a muddy cemetery.

Then I went to the Undertaker's to see Dad in the Chapel of Rest.  He looked so handsome in his navy suit, pale blue shirt and blue tie with snowflakes on it.  He liked to wear that tie at all times of the year.  And he had his socks on to keep his feet cosy...

It was hard to walk away.
