Day 6: Things don’t go to plan…

Picked up my husband’s ‘summer cold’ and as visiting the oldies did a quick Covid test with unexpected and disruptive results. Panic air-bnb search and a responsive host got us a very expensive but pleasant plan b accommodation for at least a few days isolation. So annoying, I don’t feel too bad.

Went to Barnard Castle to test my eyesight…don’t judge me, I was in the open air!
