We had a lovely (if a bit rough) trip around the farne islands. Unfortunately we were unable to land because the national trust are keeping them closed because of the avian flu.

Also pictured is the lighouse from which Grace Darling made her brave rescue of 9 sailors from a ship which sunk on the rocks in 1838, four years before she died from TB.
