Not what I was going to blip

We last walked through Vinters Valkey Nature Reserve in January when the willow looked as if it was beginning to show a hint of green. Today, all that’s left is this trunk. As this is a nature reserve I’m sure the management team must have had good reason to carry out this drastic surgery. Perhaps it will send out new shots again?

A Marmite Band rehearsal this morning. We have a performance at the Doddington Village celebration coronation picnic on Sunday so we ran through the songs and the technical arrangements.

This evening Susan and played our respective instruments together for the first time in ages. We were pleasantly surprised how well we did even on songs we’d not played together before.
