Into the Woods

There were conflicting forecasts for today’s walk with my walking group but we were very fortunate and had only a light spit. We covered some areas I hadn’t visited before. Bluebells were in flower in abundance and we could see orchids were coming at a later date. We also saw a tufted pochard which I think was a first for me. The rain caught up with us this afternoon after we had returned home. Luckily we had cast our votes for the local elections first thing. I had planned to go in the greenhouse to prick out some seedlings in the afternoon but the rain put me off.
