Too much ice at the top of Pike's Peak, CO.Much more exacting (and exciting) before the road was paved. Bigger views (enlarge the photos to max) of snow and rocks and one hair-pin bend.

      I am once more thankful for not living in a big city or the (if they can be described as such) otiose suburbs . . .
