… and pink dogwood on Linden Street, a couple of blocks up from ours. Another cloudy, seasonable day, again with threats of rain that didn’t materialize.

We went out early to buy some fresh cut asparagus from a local farm and found the stand well stocked. We now have two pounds which we will enjoy roasted and perhaps in soup over the weekend. We also watched the women’s tennis semifinals from Madrid. As expected, Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka will meet in the final on Saturday.
