Checking the speedo

Round West Midlands Safari Park.

Bit of a disaster day. Turned up with the rest of the country and it took 2 hours to crawl round. Most animals were asleep in the shade away from the cars! Then had a picnic where Penny began to feel unwell, once we'd been round the reptile house we had to administer the EpiPen, then call first aid, a paramedic and then an ambulance. Anaphylactic shock from handing the animal feed, there were no warnings on the box, just because people don't eat it, doesn't mean those with nut allergies can't be affected.
Luckily Penny has now been discharged and is on the way home. A scary end to what should've been a happy day.
