Pareeeeee!

Very early up, thanking heavens trains into London ok and on the Eurostar at 1030 and sitting having lunch at our Hotel just outside the Marais by 2.30pm.  Still amazes me every time. 

In the afternoon we wandered the area noting how it had got even more upscale since we last stayed here. The hotel is in a much more mixed area and lunch was taken outside to the sound of squabbling drunks and kids doing wheelies on their bikes.  

This blip is the Musée d’Arts et Metiers (museum of Arts and Trades) which seemed to be running an exhibition of eccentric French car designs.  

We had fun at Merci and Perfumer H and then wandered home for a delicious dinner at the hotel.  Tomorrow we’ll go further afield but having been to Paris so many times over the years there is no obligation to see the sites.  One can serendipitously wander.
