Evening meal

Treaty evening meal in a new location as one of my favourite restaurants has moved to a new setting. Sadly it’s about a week from the start of tuna season so I had to reconsider my options. A starter of cucumber, mint, celery and basil gazpacho was very much welcomed. It had a blob of what looked like Mr Whippy ice cream in the middle of it which was somewhat potent creamed feta type cheese.

Pretty rainy day but got a shop for the week done and reluctantly did a Wim Hoff type extremely cold swim of 6 lengths in the pool. An old couple came out on their balcony and cheered us and our bravery (madness). Even the locals were surprised that we’d gone in an unheated pool. Felt invigorated!
