Hepatica

I almost missed them this year.  Everywhere I've gone, petals on the ground.  
Latin name - Hepatica acutiloba
Debra and I walked on some conserved farm fields by the Connecticut River.  Its a favorite place to find many spring ephemerals, and yesterday didn't disappoint.
