Come on the Spiders

This evening my team, Queen’s Park are playing Dundee in a title decider for the Scottish Championship, the second tier of the (men’s) Scottish Professional Football League. It is an irony that the club only went professional around three years ago and since then have enjoyed successive promotions. We need to beat Dundee to win the title. If you said to me five years ago that this is where our club would be, I would have thought you were deluded. Some finance has come in and that has clearly helped. I fear that we are not equipped for the Scottish Premiership but it won’t stop me from shouting at the TV tonight. I shall be suitably attired.
