Sunshine and warmth!

That's what we had today! I got the grass cut in the morning because the sun had dried the dew so I had the rest of the day to plant my pots up and get a lot more done in the garden including more dog-proofing because she got out yesterday while my daughter was looking after her. She caught a rabbit and proceeded to eat it while my daughter looked on with baby in arms not being able to do anything about it! She's eaten worse things.. At least it was fresh.. Enough said!!
We enjoyed a glass of wine in the sunshine until Tia discovered a blackbird nest, the mum and dad chattered at her very crossly and the 4 fledglings we saw all flapped away over the wall. Hope they'll be ok. That dog is becoming a nightmare!! :-/
My blip today shows the long grass areas - I leave parts long because I have large areas of creeping buttercup so may as well enjoy them rather than fight nature! Cuts grass-cutting time too! :-)
