It's correct to say…

…"Yew is different."?
IF it's spelt Y. E. W. 

I'm not 100% sure if this is true of ALL Conifers - BUT - "Most conifers grow only from new green wood.  If you cut them back beyond the new green buds to the old wood, they just won't grow from there anymore."
OR even whether Yew is, while certainly "evergreen", truly a "Conifer"
However some-one thinks it is:-
"We are therefore happy to inform you about the yew compared to other conifers."


In my Mk l (Parent) account I entered the depths of the Cedar to spy on the Nest-Box; during which time I spotted these two new growths - WELL both down and in the gloom.
