Perseguir

We are having to repeatedly chase a generally woeful consultant to get any communication out of him, let alone get the contracted deliverables. However I enjoy interactions that widen my Portuguese vocabulary. We established the correct verb to use in this instance was perseguir (to pursue) and not caçar (to chase, hunt) as I had been using, as if he was prey and not a supposed professional.
