Coronation celebrations

My school has lots of connections with the Royal Family, including one as a former pupil, and a visit from King Charles II in 1669...  The day started with a service in Ely Cathedral with a wonderful choral rendition of Zadok the Priest as a highlight... in the afternoon there was 'street party' and other celebrations, and a commemorative coin handed to each pupil. Home to start a 2nd long weekend with a glass of fizz and to enjoy the late evenings...
