Bitts Park was looking very lush when I walked Misty there this morning.  It was sunny too but when I got home a couple of hours later it was pouring down!  Spotted the cows on the marsh on the way home.  Must be their first day out and they were very frisky and running around.  Have to really watch them as they will often run across the road.  Walked Misty at Bowness on Solway this evening and saw numerous herons and egrets catching fish for supper.
