Head First

This beautiful green heron came out of the water fairly close to me on the canal bank to stalk then strike like lightening at this fated halloween pennant dragonfly. 

Poor little Baby B had gone downhill over night and is suffering big time with this ghastly cold. To be fair I think we are all suffering because of it with him not wanting to eat, sleep and being very ill crying a good deal. I just feel so sorry for him.
