Coronation Day

I looked for Royal Ferns and Crown Imperial Fritillaries. But all to no avail. And the Kingcups in our pond are past their best. There were no Kingfishers on our walk.

So here is our new King on his birthday in 1951. He is sitting with his grandfather, King George VI.
