It’s Coronation Day

And yes sorry I did blip the same pillar box topper last Monday but it seemed appropriate for today and it’s about as far as my knees were happy to carry me.
I did enjoy watching the Coronation since it’s the first I’ve seen live. The late Queen’s Coronation was quite a few years before we had a rented television. But I do remember going into town in the evening and watching the fireworks from the Arcade Steps.
I understand the Anointing is a sacred and private moment but all I could think of was being on the beach as a child and people holding towels so that I could get changed without revealing all to the whole beach. It just seemed bizarre people undressing him then standing around holding his stuff while he was safely behind the screens (or beach towels) Am I now guilty of treason for laughing…
