Coronation weather

This morning I watched my second coronation.  I can't claim to remember the first one as I was only 16 months old but I am told that I watched the ceremony with the family on a 9 inch Pye television.  One thing that doesn't seem to have changed is the weather; it was also wet in 1953 for the Queen's coronation and also was for the King's coronation in 1937.  The picture is taken from a souvenir book of the Royal Year 1953 which is fascinating to look back on.
