We went through to Glasgow today to visit A in her new flat - she got the keys last week.  It is in Shawlands which has certainly changed since  lived nearby. 

The flat comes with a mural in the front room - A did some research and found it was by a Glasgow-based designer/illustrator Emir Tumilty . It's certainly striking and A will probably keep it.

We got lunch from a local bakery - one of many great shops nearby. T and I enjoyed very tasty bagels with tuna and A had a chicken and chorizo sandwich. 

It was lovely seeing A and hearing her plans for the flat - I look forward to seeing how it progresses.
