In the wild

This pink rose grows wild here. Usually in the ditch by the road or along fences. Today I stopped to get a photo becauseI had a great place to pull off the road. Since it “runs” along the ground I was able to pull some up by the root with my bare hand…with a few blooms!

I put it in a pot until I decide where it will go. Hoping I can get it to grow and spread to look as pretty as this photo.

I need a little bit of split rail fence! Sounds like a project for my handy man.
