Blast from the Past

This is me well over 40 years ago when I graduated as an RN in an all female institution well over 40 years ago. Male nurses in General Hospitals were rare as hens teeth then but now look at us. I had to fight tooth and nail to be accepted for training. I was the first male to be accepted for training at the Mater in Newcastle.
