The length of time it takes a parent to speak some sense into a child seems to be proportional to the amount of respect that child is shown in the first place. All depends on how good your communication skills are.

A beautiful day coordinating the usual dance, play park with friends, and a surprise sleep over and watching a film with child #2 which made me laugh a great deal.
